## What it does

The skill sets up Clui CC, a transparent desktop overlay for macOS that wraps the Claude CLI. Every tab spawns its own `claude -p --output-format stream-json` process, and `RunManager` parses the NDJSON stream into events for the UI. Tab state moves through `ControlPlane`: connecting, idle, running, then completed or failed.

Tool calls are intercepted by `PermissionServer` through PreToolUse HTTP hooks, bound to localhost. The renderer gets a `permission_request` event and waits for your call: approve or deny. Sessions resume with `--resume <session-id>`, and conversation history stays on the machine. Voice input runs through Whisper, no API key involved.

The overlay is macOS 13+ only. You need Node.js 18+, Python 3.10+ with `setuptools` on 3.12+, an authenticated Claude CLI and Whisper CLI. The app is unsigned, so macOS blocks it on first launch — open it via System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. That is a good moment to check where the build came from before you allow it.
