## What it does

The skill installs CLI-Anything, an agent-native wrapper around the Mailchimp Marketing API v3.0. It exposes 303 commands across 30 resource groups: audiences and members, campaigns, reports, automations, e-commerce, templates, landing pages, SMS campaigns, surveys. Command names mirror the API paths, so something like `lists create-lists-id-members` reads like the docs.

Any command takes `--json` at the root level and pipes cleanly into `jq` — pull audience names, campaign ids, click stats. Run the binary with no arguments and you get an interactive REPL instead. Responses keep the native Mailchimp envelope, so pick the key that matches the resource.

You need Python 3.10+ and a `MAILCHIMP_API_KEY` environment variable holding the key with its datacenter suffix, such as `abc123-us8`. Drop the suffix and API calls fail, which is the first thing to check when `ping` comes back empty.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-mailchimp -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-mailchimp -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-mailchimp -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install HKUDS/CLI-Anything cli-anything-mailchimp
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-mailchimp -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/HKUDS/CLI-Anything --path skills/cli-anything-mailchimp
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/cli-anything-mailchimp/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add HKUDS/CLI-Anything --skill cli-anything-mailchimp -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- create an audience and add members from a script
- send, schedule or pause an email campaign without opening the web UI
- export opens and clicks for a campaign as JSON
- set up an automation and manage its emails
- pull store, order and promo code stats

## Example prompts
- list every audience in my Mailchimp account
- create a campaign and schedule it for tomorrow
- export the click report for campaign abc123def as JSON

## Identity

An agent-native CLI for the [Mailchimp Marketing API v3.0](https://mailchimp.com/developer/marketing/docs/fundamentals/), built on the [CLI-Anything](https://github.com/HKUDS/CLI-Anything) framework.

## What This CLI Does

- Manage **audiences (lists)** — create, update, delete lists; add/update/archive members; manage merge fields, segments, tags, and webhooks.
- Run **campaigns** — create, schedule, send, pause, replicate, and analyse email campaigns.
- Read **reports** — open rates, click rates, bounce stats, unsubscribes, email activity, geographic data.
- Control **automations** — create and manage automated email workflows.
- Manage **e-commerce** — stores, orders, customers, products, carts, and promo codes.
- Use **templates, file manager, landing pages, SMS campaigns, surveys**, and all other Marketing API resources.

## Prerequisites
