## What it does

This skill covers a whole design system, not a single component. It sets the page background, hero, application shell, grid modules, cards, buttons and motion. The base is layered beige, stone, cream and off-white with very low-contrast borders. You get a warm neutral ground instead of cold white enterprise UI.

Inside are rules and recommended patterns. A centered hero with a small badge and a minimal CTA stack, a framed app shell with thin internal dividers, a lower modular grid of equal columns with calm labels. Accent colour goes only to badges, active indicators, progress and primary actions. Typography stays clean sans-serif with modest weight contrast. Motion is subtle: masked text reveals, mild fade-ins, gentle background drift.

Tuning knobs are listed too: beige warmth from cooler stone to warmer parchment, contrast level between shells and panels, accent intensity, grid density, surface softness. The skill also names what to avoid — stark white SaaS with cold gray borders, vintage paper textures, heavy shadows, saturated accents. If your project is already a dense dashboard with loud colours, expect to rework the layout rather than extend it.

```bash
npx skills add MengTo/Skills --skill clean-minimal-beige-light-mode -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/clean-minimal-beige-light-mode/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/clean-minimal-beige-light-mode/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add MengTo/Skills --skill clean-minimal-beige-light-mode -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/clean-minimal-beige-light-mode/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add MengTo/Skills --skill clean-minimal-beige-light-mode -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/clean-minimal-beige-light-mode/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install MengTo/Skills clean-minimal-beige-light-mode
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**

## When to use it
- set a warm neutral palette instead of cold white
- build the lower section from equal modular blocks
- keep accent colour on statuses and primary actions only
- add restrained text and background motion
- audit a layout for heavy shadows and extra decoration

## Example prompts
- Build a landing page in the clean-minimal-beige-light-mode style: warm beige hero with a modular grid below
- Move this page onto the beige design system from the clean-minimal-beige-light-mode skill
- Add soft fade-ins and gentle background drift to this layout, like clean-minimal-beige-light-mode

# Clean Minimal Beige Light Mode Skill

## Use When
- Create a clean minimal beige light-mode design system with warm neutral shells, quiet process grids, restrained accent color, and elegant low-contrast structure.

## Workflow

## Scope
- Apply this as a full design-system direction across page background, hero, shell, grid modules, cards, buttons, and motion.
- Use it when the interface should feel light, calm, premium, and process-oriented, with warm beige neutrals instead of cold white enterprise UI.
- This is not generic bright SaaS and not an ornate paper system. It should stay clean, minimal, and quietly operational.

## Visual target
- Build the page on layered beige, stone, cream, and off-white surfaces with very low-contrast borders and subtle tonal separation.
- Use a centered master container or framed application shell that holds the experience together in a precise but understated way.
- Pair a simple centered hero with a modular lower information grid or process layout made of evenly divided blocks.
- Keep accent color sparse and purposeful, used only for key badges, active indicators, progress, or primary action states.
- Let the design feel highly organized and premium without relying on strong shadows, loud gradients, or heavy decorative effects.

## Implementation guidance
- Prefer warm neutral backgrounds with a gentle radial or painted wash behind the main UI rather than flat plain white.
- Use thin borders, soft dividers, and restrained panel contrast to create hierarchy between sections and cards.
- Organize lower content into a rigid modular grid with equal columns, calm labels, short descriptions, and simple functional mock components.
- Buttons and pills should feel light, refined, and understated, using soft fills, tiny radius or low-radius corners, and subtle border treatment.
- Typography should remain modern and readable: clean sans-serif, modest weight contrast, quiet tracking, and balanced spacing.
