## What it does

The skill applies Taiwan linguistic standards (zh-TW) across articles, notes, and technical drafts. It sets boundaries against literal translations of English phrasal verbs, stopping calques such as translating fold in or land directly into word-for-word patterns. Readers encounter proper terminology for concepts like queues or memory, rather than mainland expressions.

Formatting checks demand full-width punctuation and a single space around Latin characters. For pronouns, the guidelines enforce direct reader addresses, ruling out formal honorific markers. When introducing technical concepts in English, the guide requires pairing with the zh-TW translation on first mention, then sticking to the local term.

A bash script at `<skill-dir>/scripts/lint.sh` scans markdown drafts for punctuation errors, repeated terms, and known calques. The script relies on GNU grep with PCRE support, requiring `GREP=ggrep` on macOS. This skill handles language constraints, while structural flow and tone belong to `writing-style-guideline`.
