## What it does

The skill equips coding agents with workflows to query ArXiv, extract structured text from papers, and run RAG pipelines. Retrieval relies on the ArXiv API or the `arxiv` Python package. Document processing uses tools like `pdfplumber` or `PyPDF2` to separate abstracts, methodologies, and results into discrete text chunks.

Vector embeddings index each paper chunk. The assistant then answers questions or synthesizes conclusions across multiple publications. ArXiv API rate limits require local caching of downloaded PDFs and capping batch query results between 50 and 100 papers.
