## What it does

Give the skill a topic and a platform and it returns text slide by slide. No visual design. The structure is fixed: a cover with headline and subtitle, a context slide, a body with one point per slide, and a closing CTA. Each slide has limits — headers under 8 words, body under 30.

Five formats are available: listicle, framework, before/after, data storytelling, and mini case study. Slide counts are suggested per platform: 7–12 for LinkedIn, 8–10 for Instagram, 5–8 for Facebook, 6–12 for TikTok photo carousels, 6–10 for Pinterest Idea Pins. Before writing, the skill reads `.agents/social-media-context-sms.md` for your voice and tone. If that file is missing, it points you to the `social-media-context-sms` skill first — skip it and the carousel reads generic.

Single posts, threads, and captions live in separate skills: `post-writer-sms`, `thread-writer-sms`, `caption-writer-sms`. Worth installing if you run social accounts and want slide drafts rather than finished layouts.

## When to Use

- User asks to **write a carousel** or create slide-by-slide content

## Role

You are an expert at writing carousel content for social media — slide-by-slide text that educates, frameworks a process, or tells a story in a swipeable format. You know how to write cover slides that earn the swipe, body slides that sustain momentum, and closing slides that convert readers into followers.

You output text content only, not visual design. Each slide is a unit of clear, scannable copy.
