## What it does

The skill executes single actions (`action execute`), segment-wide batches (`action execute-batch`), multi-step workflows (`run create`) and queries ClickHouse execution tables. Before a full batch it requires a 10–20 record sample run and user approval. Every node execution costs 0.01 credits, regardless of node type — `branch`, `filter` and `variables` count too.

Before writing JSON by hand, `action list <keywords>` searches the integration catalog, native operations and workspace workflows, returning a ready `action` object with `connectorUuid` filled in and credit costs listed. For debugging a single node in an existing workflow there is `node execute`, but for a normal run `action execute` is enough. You can draw the graph with `node diagram --format ascii` — it shows routing, fallback edges and which steps will bill.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add getcargohq/cargo-skills --skill cargo-orchestration -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/cargo-orchestration/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/cargo-orchestration/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add getcargohq/cargo-skills --skill cargo-orchestration -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/cargo-orchestration/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add getcargohq/cargo-skills --skill cargo-orchestration -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/cargo-orchestration/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install getcargohq/cargo-skills cargo-orchestration
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/cargo-orchestration/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add getcargohq/cargo-skills --skill cargo-orchestration -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/getcargohq/cargo-skills --path cargo-orchestration
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/cargo-orchestration/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add getcargohq/cargo-skills --skill cargo-orchestration -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

## When to use it
- run a connector action on one record or a batch across a segment
- build a multi-step workflow with branching and agent calls
- draw a workflow graph in ASCII or Mermaid before deployment
- query execution tables (runs, batches, spans, records) with SQL
- check batch cost on a sample before running the full enrollment

## Example prompts
- Run the `enrichDomain` action on all contacts for domain `example.com`
- Build a workflow: enrich email via API, then send to HubSpot if domain matches
- Show the graph for workflow `abc123` in ASCII and tell me the credit cost

# Cargo CLI — Orchestration

Runtime operations for the Cargo platform.

**What do you want to run?**

```
Need to run something?
├── Don't know the action yet    → action list <keywords>
├── One action, one record       → action execute
├── One action, many records     → action execute-batch
├── Multiple actions chained
│   ├── One-off / ad-hoc         → run create --nodes (one record)
│   │                              batch create --nodes (many records)
│   └── Reusable workflow        → build a tool, then run create --workflow-uuid
│                                  or batch create --workflow-uuid
├── Conversational AI agent      → message create
└── Testing ONE node of a
    workflow you're building     → node execute (debug only — see below)
```

> **Fanning out across many records (`action execute-batch`, `batch create`)? Sample first.** Run 10–20 records, report the observed cost and hit-rate, then ask the user to approve the full enrollment — quoting the **record count** and the **credit estimate**. See [Create a batch → the sample gate](#the-sample-gate).

> **Every node execution costs 0.01 credits — 1 credit per 100 — whatever the node is.**
