# c-tracking

A skill that lets your coding agent look up package status for UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL through the ordercli CLI, no carrier sites involved.

## What it does

The skill wires `ordercli` into your agent so it can pull tracking data on demand. Give it a tracking number and it reports the current status, the last known location and the estimated delivery date. Carrier detection happens automatically, and `--carrier` forces a specific one when that guess is wrong.

Commands cover the usual cases: `ordercli track <number>` for a single parcel, `ordercli track --history <number>` for the full event timeline, and several numbers in one call. Supported carriers are `ups`, `fedex`, `usps` and `dhl`. When auto-detection fails, the skill asks you to name the carrier yourself.

Tracking numbers have to match exactly — spaces and dashes break the lookup unless the carrier format includes them. Carriers sometimes lag on scans, so what you see is the most recent one. Without `ordercli` installed, the skill has nothing to call.

## Usage Guidelines

1. If the user provides a tracking number, attempt auto-detection first before specifying a carrier.
2. Show: current status, last known location, and estimated delivery date.
3. If tracking fails or carrier is unrecognized, ask the user to confirm the carrier name.
4. Use `--history` when the user asks for a full timeline of events.

## Notes

- Tracking numbers must be exact — no spaces or dashes unless the carrier format requires them.
- Some carriers have delayed updates; results reflect the last carrier scan.
