# deslop

## What it does

The skill reads the diff against `main` and clears out what the generator added: comments a human would not write, defensive checks and try/catch blocks that do not belong in that part of the codebase, especially when the call comes from a path that is already trusted. Casts to `any` used to dodge type errors go too, along with any style that clashes with the rest of the file.

It ships as a plain skill — drop `SKILL.md` into your platform's skills directory and run it after the code is written. The agent edits the branch and closes with a one-to-three sentence summary of what changed.

Everything is measured against `main`. If your default branch has another name, the diff is not the one you expect, so check that first.

## When to use it
- strip comments the model added to every line
- drop defensive checks on already-validated data
- remove try/catch wrapped around safe calls
- replace any-casts with real types
- match new code to the file's existing style
