## What it does

This skill connects the coding agent to the Brand.dev REST API using `curl` requests and `python3` response parsers. It queries web mentions, compares mention counts against competitors, and tracks sentiment using positive (> 0.3), neutral, and negative (< -0.3) thresholds.

The skill also retrieves structured company info by domain, configures ongoing monitor alerts across news or social sources, and runs logo searches to spot sponsor placements or unauthorized use. It includes a multi-step brand audit workflow covering volume trends and high-authority PR targets.

Without `BRANDDEV_API_KEY`, every request fails because Brand.dev endpoints require a Bearer token. You must define this key in `.env`, `.env.local`, or `~/.claude/.env.global` before triggering searches.

```bash
npx skills add OpenClaudia/openclaudia-skills --skill brand-monitor -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
