## What it does

The skill begins by inspecting repository files and recent commits. It then guides the discussion by asking one question per turn, preferring multiple-choice formats over open prompts. This structure limits confusion. The agent focuses strictly on constraints and practical success criteria.

To evaluate potential solutions, the assistant generates 6 distinct approaches paired with numerical probabilities. The first 3 target standard options above 0.80. The remaining 3 explore diverse edge approaches below 0.10. Once an approach is chosen, the design arrives in incremental chunks of 200-300 words covering architecture, data flow, and error handling.

Running this skill on purely mechanical tasks or simple code edits introduces unnecessary friction. If no specification file exists yet, the output routes to `/add-task`, preparing the workspace for subsequent refinement via `/plan-task <task-file-path>`.
