# blog

Runs a blog end to end: drafts, rewrites, scores posts out of 100, emits schema and hreflang. Useful when one person owns both the editorial calendar and SEO.

## What it does

The skill parses your command and routes it to the matching sub-skill. There are 31 of them. `write` drafts a post from scratch, `rewrite` optimizes an existing one, `analyze` scores a post 0-100 and returns fixes in priority order. Around that sit `outline` built from SERP data, `brief`, `calendar`, `strategy`, `schema` for JSON-LD, `repurpose` for other platforms, `geo` for AI citation readiness, and `factcheck` to check statistics against cited sources.

Multilingual work gets its own lane: `multilingual` writes, translates, localizes and emits hreflang in one command, `localize` adapts for DACH, FR, ES or JA audiences, and `locale-audit` checks completeness and freshness across locales. There is also `cluster` for hub-and-spoke planning, `decay` to flag pages losing traffic in GSC exports, `persona` and `style learn` for author voice, and `brand` for the `BRAND.md` and `VOICE.md` files the other sub-skills pick up.

Quality scoring needs Claude and Python 3.11+. Several commands pull from Google APIs (PSI, CrUX, GSC, GA4, YouTube) and image generation runs through Gemini, so set those keys up first or those branches will not run. The skill itself warns against triggering on the bare word "blog" in a coding, theme-debugging or log-analysis request.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/blog/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/blog/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**

# Blog: Content Engine for Rankings & AI Citations

Bundled paths below use host Markdown substitution of `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}`;
it is not an exported shell variable. Resolve them before execution, quote
paths, and refuse nonabsolute overrides. Pass `blog_reference_root` resolved
from `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../blog/references`, `blog_template_root` from
`${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../blog/templates`, and needed sibling roots to agents.
Read the main reference `orchestration-details.md` before loading project
context; pass only its helper-fenced output to downstream agents.

Full-lifecycle blog management: strategy, briefs, outlines, writing, analysis,
optimization, schema generation, repurposing, and editorial planning. Use
foundational Google Search guidance and evidence-supported AI citation
practices for platforms such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and
Gemini. Load the reviewed currentness references for named updates and
product changes; neither timing nor local readiness scores prove ranking or
citation outcomes.
