## What it does

The skill expands a single seed keyword into 30 to 50 search queries using WebSearch and groups them by SERP overlap. When two keywords share four or more search results in the top 10, it routes them into the same article to stop keyword cannibalization.

It designs a hub-and-spoke system containing one pillar page of 2,500 to 4,000 words alongside 5 to 15 spoke posts of 1,200 to 1,800 words. For execution, it triggers sequential calls to `blog-write`, passing shared cluster context and injecting internal links between related entries.

The tool strictly depends on the `claude-blog` ecosystem; running it standalone will fail because drafting relies directly on companion skills like `blog-write`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog-cluster -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/blog-cluster/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/blog-cluster/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog-cluster -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/blog-cluster/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog-cluster -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/blog-cluster/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install AgriciDaniel/claude-blog blog-cluster
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/blog-cluster/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog-cluster -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --path skills/blog-cluster
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/blog-cluster/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add AgriciDaniel/claude-blog --skill blog-cluster -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

## When to use it
- expand a seed keyword into 30 to 50 search queries
- cluster keywords using top-10 search result overlap
- map hub-and-spoke architectures for long-form content
- inject internal links between pillar and spoke pages automatically

## Example prompts
- /blog cluster plan "developer tools"
- /blog cluster plan --from strategy ./strategy-plan.json
- /blog cluster execute ./cluster-plan.json

  Semantic topic cluster planning and automated execution engine for claude-blog.
  Performs SERP-based keyword research, groups keywords by search intent and
  SERP overlap, builds a hub-and-spoke cluster architecture, generates an
  interactive SVG cluster map, and executes the full cluster by orchestrating
  blog-write calls with shared cluster context and automatic internal-link
  injection. Fills the strategy-to-execution gap: blog-strategy plans the
  blueprint, blog-cluster builds the house.

  "cluster plan", "cluster execute", "cluster map".

# Blog Cluster (Semantic Topic Cluster Engine)

Bundled paths below use host Markdown substitution of `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}`;
it is not an exported shell variable. Resolve them before execution, quote
paths, and refuse nonabsolute overrides. Pass `blog_reference_root` resolved
from `${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../blog/references`, `blog_template_root` from
`${CLAUDE_SKILL_DIR}/../blog/templates`, and needed sibling roots to agents.
Read the main reference `orchestration-details.md` before loading project
context; pass only its helper-fenced output to downstream agents.

Plans and executes entire interlinked content ecosystems from a single seed
keyword. Three layers: Semantic Clustering (the brain), Cluster Architecture
(the structure), and Execution Engine (the machine).

> Adapted from the **semantic-cluster-engine** submission by Lutfiya Miller
> (winner, AI Marketing Hub Pro Challenge, March 2026, 95/100 Exemplary).
> Original repository: no longer available as of 2026-10-12
> This port keeps the Plan + Execute architecture and the cluster context
> innovation, removes brand-specific (ScienceExperts.ai) styling and image
> prompts, and routes through claude-blog's existing sub-skills.

## Commands

| Command | What it does |
|---------|--------------|
| `/blog cluster` | Interactive. Asks whether to plan or execute. |
| `/blog cluster plan <seed-keyword>` | SERP-based semantic analysis. Outputs cluster plan + map. |
| `/blog cluster plan --from strategy [path]` | Imports existing `blog-strategy` cluster build plan and validates against SERP data. |
| `/blog cluster execute [path-to-plan]` | Sequential `blog-write` calls with cluster context and auto-interlinks. |
