## What it does

\`axiom-security` covers secure storage for tokens, passwords, and API keys through Keychain, encryption and key management with CryptoKit, passkey sign-in, and app integrity checks. It also points to guidance for protecting AI or agentic features from prompt injection and for confirming tool calls.

The skill is organized around reference files for `SecItem`, `kSecAttrAccessible`, `AES-GCM`, `ECDSA`, `EdDSA`, `NSFileProtection`, certificates, and provisioning profiles. Separate material handles signing failures and profile inspection. Builds, tests, and simulators that shell out need shell access, so check that requirement before relying on those flows.

It also helps separate security work from networking, data storage, and App Store preparation. The routing points to files such as `keychain.md`, `cryptokit.md`, `passkeys.md`, `agentic-security.md`, and the code-signing references.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --skill axiom-security -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/axiom-security/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --skill axiom-security -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --skill axiom-security -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install CharlesWiltgen/Axiom axiom-security
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --skill axiom-security -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --path axiom-codex/skills/axiom-security
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add CharlesWiltgen/Axiom --skill axiom-security -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/CharlesWiltgen/Axiom/tree/HEAD/axiom-codex/skills/axiom-security/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- store tokens, passwords, and API keys in Keychain
- encrypt data and sign payloads
- add passkey sign-in
- protect an AI feature from prompt injection
- manage certificates and provisioning profiles

## Example prompts
- Review this app's token storage and recommend a suitable `kSecAttrAccessible` level for Keychain.
- Audit this AI feature for prompt injection and add confirmation before tool calls.
- Diagnose the code-signing error and check the certificate, provisioning profile, and entitlements.
