## What it does

Reach for this skill when a project touches camera capture, the photo library, audio playback or recording, haptics, music recognition, screen recording, casting to devices outside AirPlay, SharePlay, the Apple Music library, lock-screen metadata, or a CarPlay app. The skill holds a symptom-to-reference table and a decision tree. Camera capture goes to `skills/camera-capture.md`, haptics to `skills/haptics.md`, CarPlay design to `skills/carplay-hig.md` and `skills/carplay-templates-ref.md`.

Coverage includes `AVCaptureSession`, `AVFoundation`, Core Haptics, MediaPlayer, MusicKit, NowPlaying, ScreenCaptureKit and DockKit. Several references are tied to `OS27` and iOS 26+: ProRes recording, on-device music analysis, face grouping, and screen capture on iOS, iPadOS, tvOS and visionOS. Casting to Chromecast and DLNA is marked as likely EU-gated.

It is a router, not finished code. The skill does not write your app; it sends the agent to the right section. Tasks outside media get handed off — SharePlay session lifecycle to `axiom-integration`, speech-to-text to `axiom-ai`. One note inside says auditors are skills here too, with `axiom-audit-camera` available, and that checks which shell out for builds, tests or simulators need shell access.
