## What it does

The skill covers Lambda handlers, REST and HTTP APIs backed by API Gateway, and asynchronous SQS processing with retries and a dead-letter queue. Its examples use JavaScript and Python, with SAM templates for deployment.

Patterns show request parsing, API responses, error handling, DynamoDB access, and reporting failed items from a message batch. They are starting points, so you’ll need to adapt table settings, function configuration, and business logic to your project. Some examples rely on the AWS SDK or `boto3`; the templates do not deploy an application without configured AWS resources.

## When to use it
