## What it does

This skill matches platform-reported conversions against GA4 or ecommerce order IDs. It labels matched, double-counted, and unmatched records, then produces de-duplicated conversion counts for each platform.

Its workbook includes a normalized window and currency view, an attribution-model comparison table, and an incrementality read when a geo/holdout test is available. It writes the result to `memory/ad/attribution-reconciler/YYYY-MM-DD-<topic>.md` and sends unresolved gaps to `memory/open-loops.md`.

An order-ID export is required: the skill stops and requests it if it is missing. Prepare that export before running it. ROI and ROAS ratio calculations are handed to `roi-calculator`.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill attribution-reconciler -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/attribution-reconciler/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/attribution-reconciler/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill attribution-reconciler -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/attribution-reconciler/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill attribution-reconciler -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/attribution-reconciler/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills attribution-reconciler
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/attribution-reconciler/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill attribution-reconciler -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --path ad/scale/attribution-reconciler
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/attribution-reconciler/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add aaron-he-zhu/aaron-marketing-skills --skill attribution-reconciler -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- reconcile Meta and Google conversions with GA4 orders
- find sales claimed by more than one platform
- normalize different attribution windows
- align currencies across conversion exports
- read incrementality from a geo/holdout test

## Example prompts
- Reconcile my paid conversions for May against this GA4 order-ID export and the Meta and Google conversion exports.
- Build a monthly attribution workbook with normalized Meta and Google windows, currencies, and de-duplicated Shopify conversions.
- Read incrementality from this geo/holdout order export and compare it with last-click attribution.
