## What it does

The skill introduces human review loops into agent tasks when text instructions fall short. It uses the `anycap annotate` command to launch an interactive feedback server. Reviewers can drop pin markers or draw arrows while attaching text notes directly to screenshots and designs.

Two workflows cover most tasks. Web page review handles live browser testing and local development servers: its main output is a recorded screen walk-through with voice narration. Image review targets diagrams and mockups, allowing collaborators to mark up the same file simultaneously. With the `--no-wait` flag, agents run the review in the background and poll the session status later.

The workflow fails without an installed anycap CLI binary and an active internet connection. On remote VMs or inside containers, specify `--bind 0.0.0.0` and a fixed port like `--port 8888` to route traffic via SSH or a reverse proxy.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add anycap-ai/anycap --skill anycap-human-interaction -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/anycap-human-interaction/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/anycap-human-interaction/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add anycap-ai/anycap --skill anycap-human-interaction -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/anycap-human-interaction/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add anycap-ai/anycap --skill anycap-human-interaction -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/anycap-human-interaction/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install anycap-ai/anycap anycap-human-interaction
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/anycap-human-interaction/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add anycap-ai/anycap --skill anycap-human-interaction -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/anycap-ai/anycap --path skills/anycap-human-interaction
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/anycap-human-interaction/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add anycap-ai/anycap --skill anycap-human-interaction -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

## When to use it
- collect visual annotations and notes on UI screenshots
- record web page walkthroughs with voice narration
- gather simultaneous visual feedback from multiple reviewers
- iterate on architecture diagrams using an interactive whiteboard

## Example prompts
- Start an anycap annotation session for `screenshot.png` in the background
- Open the current web page for visual review and voice recording
- Request feedback on the architecture diagram using the interactive board

name: anycap-human-interaction
description: "Collect structured visual feedback from humans using AnyCap's annotation tool, or create and iterate on diagrams using the interactive whiteboard (Excalidraw). Covers image annotation, URL/web page review with screen recording, video review, audio feedback, and collaborative diagramming with Mermaid input. Use when you need a human to point at things, mark regions, draw on screenshots, review a web page or UI, narrate feedback over a recording, provide any spatially-grounded visual input, create or iterate on architecture diagrams, flowcharts, or wireframes. Also use when you need to present work-in-progress to a human for approval or revision. Trigger on: get feedback, show to user, review UI, annotate, mark up, visual feedback, screen recording, user review, human-in-the-loop, approval flow, interactive review, whiteboard, diagram, draw, flowchart, wireframe, or architecture chart."

# AnyCap Human Interaction

> **Read this entire file before starting.** Skipping sections leads to incorrect workflows -- each media type has different capabilities and constraints.

Workflow guide for collecting structured visual feedback from humans using AnyCap's annotation tool. This skill teaches you **when and how** to involve humans in your workflow through visual annotation and screen recording.

For CLI command reference, read the `anycap-cli` skill. For media generation workflows, read the `anycap-media-production` skill.

## Prerequisites

AnyCap CLI must be installed and authenticated. Read the `anycap-cli` skill if setup is needed.

## Two Core Scenarios

AnyCap annotation excels at two distinct review workflows. Choose the one that fits your situation:

| Scenario | Best for | Primary artifact | Highlight |
|----------|----------|------------------|-----------|
| **URL / Web Page Review** | Web pages, local dev servers, live UIs | Screen recording with narration | Browse, annotate, and narrate -- the recording captures everything |
| **Image Collaborative Review** | Generated images, screenshots, designs | Annotated image with merged feedback | Multiple reviewers annotate simultaneously in real-time |

Both scenarios support all annotation tools (Rect, Arrow, Point, Freehand) and text labels. The difference is in what you get back and how the review is conducted.

## Command Quick Reference

```bash
# Blocking -- opens browser, waits for Done click, outputs result
anycap annotate <target> [-o output.png]
