## What it does

The skill hands your agent a set of techniques for testing Android apps. It covers SSL pinning bypass with Frida, Objection and LSPosed modules, then walks through exported activities, content providers, broadcast receivers and services, plus WebView exploitation and deep link chains. A companion `FRIDA_SCRIPTS.md` holds ready-made script templates and hook points for OkHttp, Retrofit, Volley and WebView.

You need Frida server on the device and `adb`. The playbook suggests starting with the universal pinning bypass script before moving to targeted hooks. On a debug build it's often faster to trust user-installed CAs through `network_security_config.xml` than to fight the hooks.

The skill assumes authorized mobile testing, and that matters: tricks like launching a non-exported activity through intent redirection break app logic, so they don't belong anywhere near production. Cross-links point to `mobile-ssl-pinning-bypass`, `ios-pentesting-tricks` and `api-sec` if you're also testing the iOS build or want to dig into the backend once traffic is intercepted.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yaklang/hack-skills --skill android-pentesting-tricks -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yaklang/hack-skills --skill android-pentesting-tricks -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yaklang/hack-skills --skill android-pentesting-tricks -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install yaklang/hack-skills android-pentesting-tricks
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yaklang/hack-skills --skill android-pentesting-tricks -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/yaklang/hack-skills --path skills/android-pentesting-tricks
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add yaklang/hack-skills --skill android-pentesting-tricks -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/yaklang/hack-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/android-pentesting-tricks/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- bypass SSL pinning in an app using OkHttp or Conscrypt
- find exported activities and launch them directly with adb
- test a content provider for SQL injection and path traversal
- chain a deep link into a WebView and reach the JavaScript bridge
- start an internal activity through intent redirection

## Example prompts
- Test this Android app for SSL pinning bypass, start with the universal Frida script
- Find the exported activities in target.apk and show me how to launch them with adb
- Walk through the deep link → WebView → JavaScript bridge chain in this app

# SKILL: Android Pentesting Tricks — Expert Attack Playbook

> **AI LOAD INSTRUCTION**: Expert Android application security testing techniques. Covers SSL pinning bypass (Frida/Objection/LSPosed), component exposure, WebView exploitation, intent redirection, root detection bypass, and Play Integrity evasion. Base models miss Frida hook specifics and multi-layer bypass chains.

## 1. SSL PINNING BYPASS

### 1.1 Frida Universal Bypass

```bash
# Install Frida server on device
adb push frida-server-16.x.x-android-arm64 /data/local/tmp/
adb shell "chmod 755 /data/local/tmp/frida-server-16.x.x-android-arm64"
adb shell "/data/local/tmp/frida-server-16.x.x-android-arm64 &"
# Universal SSL pinning bypass
frida -U -l ssl_pinning_bypass.js -f com.target.app --no-pause
```

| Hook Point | Library/Class | Coverage |
|---|---|---|
| `X509TrustManager.checkServerTrusted` | Android SDK | All standard HTTPS |
| `OkHttpClient.Builder.sslSocketFactory` | OkHttp 3.x/4.x | Square OkHttp |
| `CertificatePinner.check` | OkHttp 3.x/4.x | OkHttp pinning |
| `HttpsURLConnection.setSSLSocketFactory` | Android SDK | Legacy HTTPS |
| `SSLContext.init` | Android SDK | Custom SSL contexts |
| `WebViewClient.onReceivedSslError` | WebView | WebView SSL errors |
| `TrustManagerFactory.getTrustManagers` | Android SDK | Factory-created TMs |

### 1.2 Objection (Quick Method)
