## What it does

This skill organizes Solidity smart contract auditing into four distinct steps. Slither executes static analysis across intermediate code representations, scanning contracts against more than 90 built-in detectors. Next, Mythril performs symbolic execution using SMT solvers to test execution paths for reentrancy, integer overflows, and unchecked external calls.

Findings from both tools are combined, deduplicated, and ranked by exploitability. The final deliverable is a structured JSON audit report containing SWC identifiers, affected functions, and remediation steps.

Execution will fail unless the environment includes Python 3.10+, `slither-analyzer`, `mythril`, and `solc`. Project-level analysis can also hook into Foundry or Hardhat if they are configured.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --skill analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --skill analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --skill analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities
```

- File: `.github/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --skill analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --path skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add mukul975/Anthropic-Cybersecurity-Skills --skill analyzing-ethereum-smart-contract-vulnerabilities -a opencode
```

## When to use it
- detect reentrancy bugs and integer overflows in Solidity code
- run Slither static checks with over 90 security detectors
- execute Mythril symbolic analysis across contract call paths
- generate structured JSON audit reports with SWC weakness identifiers

## Example prompts
- Audit Token.sol for reentrancy and access control flaws using Slither and Mythril
- Run symbolic execution on Vault.sol and report execution path vulnerabilities
- Analyze our Solidity smart contracts and produce a JSON report with SWC mappings

# Analyzing Ethereum Smart Contract Vulnerabilities

## Overview

Smart contract vulnerabilities have led to billions of dollars in losses across DeFi protocols. Unlike traditional software, deployed smart contracts are immutable and handle real financial assets, making pre-deployment security analysis critical. Slither performs fast static analysis using an intermediate representation to detect over 90 vulnerability patterns in seconds, while Mythril uses symbolic execution and SMT solving to discover complex execution path vulnerabilities like reentrancy and integer overflows. This skill covers running both tools against Solidity contracts, interpreting results, triaging findings by severity, and generating audit reports.

## When to Use

- When investigating security incidents that require analyzing ethereum smart contract vulnerabilities
- When building detection rules or threat hunting queries for this domain
- When SOC analysts need structured procedures for this analysis type
- When validating security monitoring coverage for related attack techniques

## Prerequisites

- Python 3.10+ with pip
- Slither (pip install slither-analyzer) and solc compiler
- Mythril (pip install mythril) with solc-select for compiler version management
- Solidity source code or compiled contract bytecode
- Foundry or Hardhat development framework (optional, for project-level analysis)

## Steps

### Step 1: Run Slither Static Analysis
