## What it does

The skill fetches post history from X profiles via the `apidojo/twitter-profile-scraper` actor on Apify. Input takes profile URLs or handles without the at-sign, plus filters: a `start` and `end` date range, image-only posts, replies, a minimum reply count, and a `maxItems` cap. Output carries tweet text, metrics (likes, retweets, replies, views) and author data.

Each tweet then gets a score: engagement weighted 0.50, views weighted 0.30, media presence weighted 0.20. The total sorts posts into three tiers, from high impact down to low engagement. Runs go through `node scripts/run_actor.js`, and results can be saved as CSV or JSON. There is a REST API fallback and an Apify MCP path that calls the actor directly.

You need an Apify token — the REST example reads it from `$APIFY_TOKEN`. The first 40 tweets sit in the base price, then each tweet costs $0.0004, so long histories add up. A locked account returns zero tweets, which is worth checking before you draw conclusions about a content strategy.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add apidojo-io/apidojo-skills --skill analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/analyzing-competitor-twitter-profile-content/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
