## What it does

The skill reads trend signals on Amazon: Best Seller Rank momentum, seasonal spikes, products gaining traction in their first 90 days, and expanding subcategories. It runs on `web_search` and `web_fetch`, so no API key is needed. Marketplaces covered: US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, CA, AU, IN, MX, BR.

The workflow has five steps. It starts with searches for hot categories and viral products, then scores BSR momentum from 1 to 10, checks timing against Google Trends, weighs competition, and sorts lasting trends from fads. The output is a report with five opportunities, a saturation read and a launch timeline at 30, 60 and 90 days.

For seasonal items the skill advises launching 2-3 months before the historical peak; for viral ones it says move fast, because the peak may land in 60-90 days. Figures like "$25-$80" and a "$35-$50" sweet spot come from the sample analysis, not from hard limits. Treat the numbers as a starting point and verify them yourself: the skill reasons over web search results, not over your Seller Central data.

## Workflow

### Step 1: Identify Trending Categories

Use `web_search` to gather trending signals:

1. Search `"Amazon best sellers 2024 trending products"` — identify current hot categories
2. Search `"Amazon movers and shakers [category]"` — find products with BSR momentum
3. Search `"viral products Amazon TikTok trending"` — capture social media driven trends
