## What it does

The skill runs in steps. It first pulls the product, marketplace, current situation and goal out of your message, then asks one follow-up question in multiple-choice form — shorthand answers like "1b 2c 3a" are fine. After that it works through the frameworks in the skill and returns a structured answer: a summary of findings, specific data points and benchmarks, action items sorted by priority, and next steps. Estimates built on incomplete data get flagged with ⚠️.

It covers Amazon US, UK, DE, CA, JP, AU and other marketplaces. The subject matter is certifications, labeling requirements, restricted substances and documentation. Nothing happens without your input: describe the product and the market, or the analysis has nothing to work from.

Install runs through `npx skills add`, with the platform flag deciding where the file lands. For Claude that is `-a claude-code`, and the skill file goes to `~/.claude/skills/amazon-product-compliance/SKILL.md`.
