## What it does

The skill walks the agent through five steps: break a category into subcategories, validate demand, look for weak competition, assess profit, then size the market. Each step runs specific searches — Amazon autocomplete, Reddit and Facebook group threads, YouTube reviews, Google Trends via `web_fetch`.

Output is a set of 1-10 scores. Demand, competition and profit potential roll into one weighted total: demand 30%, competition 25%. Competition is scored in reverse — 9-10 means under 500 results and no dominant brands, 1-2 means a saturated market. Supported marketplaces: US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, CA, AU, IN, MX, BR.

Those thresholds and weights are the author's heuristics, not a guarantee. If a niche scores well but the top listings sit under 4.0 stars, that is a reason to read the complaints before you order inventory.
