## What it does

The skill runs in two modes. Create takes your keywords, product details and tone, then writes the listing and scores keyword coverage. Optimize takes your ASIN or URL and checks the card across eight dimensions: title, bullets, description, images, A+ content, pricing, reviews and SEO coverage.

You do not have to research keywords yourself. Hand it one to three competitor ASINs and it pulls their titles and bullets through `scripts/fetch-listing.sh`, extracts the keywords, then builds a listing that covers theirs plus what they missed. A list exported from Helium 10 or Jungle Scout works too — paste it in. There is a companion skill, amazon-keyword-research, if you want research first and copy second.

No API key is required, it runs out of the box. Twelve marketplaces are supported: US, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, CA, AU, IN, MX, BR. Four tones are available — Professional, Friendly, Urgent, Luxury — and they change the writing style. You need Node.js with `npx` to install it.

## When to use it
- write a product listing from scratch off a keyword list
- check which search terms made it into the title and bullets and which did not
- pull keywords out of competitor listings and use them as a baseline
- score a published listing across eight dimensions and rewrite the weak parts
- get a listing ready for a product launch or relaunch

## Example prompts
- Create a listing for a portable blender. Keywords: portable blender, smoothie maker, USB rechargeable, travel blender. Material: BPA-free Tritan. Capacity: 380ml. Tone: Friendly.
- Audit the listing for ASIN B0D72TSM62 on Amazon US and show me the missing keywords
- Analyze competitors B0ABC12345 and B0XYZ67890, extract their keywords, and rewrite my listing to cover more terms than they do

# Amazon Listing Optimization 📝

Build keyword-optimized listings from scratch, or audit and optimize existing ones. No API key — works out of the box.

## Installation

```bash
npx skills add nexscope-ai/Amazon-Skills --skill amazon-listing-optimization -g
```

## Two Modes

| Mode | When to Use | Input | Output |
|------|-------------|-------|--------|
| **A — Create** | Building a new listing | Keywords and/or competitor ASINs + product info + tone | Full listing copy + keyword coverage score |
| **B — Optimize** | Improving an existing listing | Your ASIN or URL (+ optional keywords or competitor ASINs) | Optimized listing copy + audit report + gap analysis |

## Mode A — Three Ways to Start

| Input Source | How it Works |
|-------------|-------------|
| **Keywords** | User provides keyword list → skill prioritizes and generates listing |
| **Competitor ASINs** | User provides 1-3 competitor ASINs → skill fetches their listings, extracts their keywords, then generates a listing that covers all their keywords and more |
| **Both** | User provides keywords + competitor ASINs → skill merges both sources for maximum coverage |

## Capabilities

- **Keyword-driven listing generation**: Import keywords (from amazon-keyword-research, manual list, or extracted from competitor ASINs), rank by priority, generate copy that maximizes keyword coverage
