## What it does

The skill converts product and shipment details into a traceable unit-prep specification, a carton plan, a handoff checklist and a final go or hold decision. It works in steps: first it states what evidence was inspected, then screens every SKU for liquids, glass, batteries, expiration dates, children's and regulated categories. From there it picks the barcode path, writes unit preparation instructions and plans carton packing separately.

Every finding gets a label: confirmed, needs verification or blocked. If key fields are missing, the skill asks one consolidated follow-up question. That matters, because it will not assume a product is non-hazardous or non-expiring just because you did not mention it. Dimensions, film thickness and warning language come from the current requirements of the target marketplace rather than hard-coded values.

A separate section compares operating models: self-prep, supplier prep, a prep center or 3PL, and an available Amazon service. Each route lists what to verify before you pick it. The skill is not a substitute for current Seller Central requirements, so check final destinations, box contents and routing in the active shipment workflow.

- target Amazon marketplace, ship-from location, account access, and shipment workflow status;
- SKU, ASIN, FNSKU or other barcode data, quantity, condition, and ownership of each unit;
- exact product type, included items, set or multipack status, dimensions, weight, and packaging dimensions;
- materials, fragility, sharp edges, liquids, powders, textiles, small parts, expiration dates, lot controls, magnets, batteries, chemicals, temperature sensitivity, and regulated claims;
