## What it does

This skill handles backend search terms on an Amazon listing. It gathers relevant queries, weighs search volume against competition, then decides which terms stay in the field and which get cut. The point is to keep coverage while staying inside 250 bytes.

It works in three steps: keyword research and prioritisation, optimisation under the byte limit with deduplication, then ranking checks and seasonal updates. Output comes as tables split by term type — core product words, features, synonyms, long-tail phrases — plus a look at competitor backends and a character-efficiency read on your current set.

You need your ASIN and category ready, because the skill asks for them up front. Terms that already sit in your title are the usual casualty here: Amazon reads them from the title anyway, so they only eat space in the backend field.

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add nexscope-ai/Amazon-Skills --skill amazon-backend-keywords -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
