## What it does

The skill implements a senior business analyst workflow across seven stages, moving from framing and planning to research and HTML reporting. Every stage produces a specific artifact: `research_definition.md`, `research_plan.md`, `evidence_base.md`, `insights.md`, and finally `report.html`. If you modify an upstream file, the cascade rule requires updating all downstream deliverables before finalizing the output.

Execution quality relies on Python-based harness scripts. When triggered, `resume_check.py` looks for active workspaces to continue existing projects. Built-in hooks like `html_write_guard.py` and `stage_gate_hook.py` guard file generation and enforce stage transitions. Without `python3` available in your system, these validation hooks will fail.

The architecture is completely self-contained. Calling external analysis skills is prohibited by design. The skill detects your language from the initial prompt and generates all research artifacts in that language.
