# alibabacloud-rds-copilot

## What it does

The skill turns a normal chat with your agent into a session with RDS Copilot. You describe the problem in plain Chinese or English, the agent recognises it as RDS-related and runs `aliyun rdsai chat-messages` itself. Answers come back from the RdsAi OpenAPI in real time. Paste an error message and the agent will explain it and suggest a fix.

The setup is Alibaba Cloud CLI plus the RdsAi OpenAPI. Before any call, the agent has to clear three checks: CLI version `3.3.3` or higher, plugin auto-install switched on, and a valid credential profile. The `rdsai` plugin installs with `aliyun plugin install --names rdsai`. Region defaults to `cn-hangzhou` unless you name another one.

Credentials are where this usually stalls. With no working profile the agent stops before the API call and asks you to run `aliyun configure`. It will not ask you to paste secrets into environment variables, so set the profile up before an incident, not during one.
