# agentforce-test

Writes and runs test suites for Agentforce agents: smoke checks, batch runs and adversarial probes. Useful once an agent is built and needs checking before it ships.

## What it does

The skill covers three modes. Mode A is a quick smoke test through `sf agent preview`: start a session, send an utterance, end it. Mode B deploys a persistent suite to Testing Center — `sf agent test create` uploads the spec, `sf agent test run` executes it. Mode C is adversarial testing across 7 OWASP LLM Top 10 categories. You author those cases yourself by reading the agent's `.agent` script, with the neutral payload catalog in `assets/payloads/` as a coverage checklist.

Mode C splits in two. C1 deploys your cases as a Testing Center security suite, C2 probes the agent live via `sf agent preview` and grades it A–F. Generating security cases needs explicit user confirmation first. There is also direct Flow/Apex action invocation over REST when you want to test one action in isolation.

Requirements: `curl` 7.0.0 or newer, `jq` 1.6.0 or newer, `python3` 3.10.0 or newer and `sf` 2.121.7 or newer. Run the `preview` commands from inside the Salesforce project directory, since the CLI looks for `sfdx-project.json`. With `--authoring-bundle`, `start` requires an action mode — `--simulate-actions` or `--use-live-actions` — and that flag belongs on `start` only, because `send` and `end` reject it. That is the spot where a run fails for no obvious reason.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-test -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/agentforce-test/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-test -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-test -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills agentforce-test
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-test -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/agentforce-test
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-test -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/agentforce-test/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- smoke-test an agent while it is still being built
- build a regression suite and wire it into CI
- check whether the agent resists prompt injection
- diagnose a failing test from the session trace
- call a single Flow or Apex action outside the agent

## Example prompts
- Write a test spec for MyAgent and run it with sf agent test
- Probe the agent against OWASP LLM Top 10 and give it a grade
- Run a smoke test: send the agent an utterance and show me the trace

# ADLC Test

Automated testing for Agentforce agents with smoke tests, batch execution, and iterative fix loops.

## Overview

This skill provides comprehensive testing capabilities for Agentforce agents, including automated utterance derivation from agent subagents, preview-based smoke testing, trace analysis, an iterative fix loop for identified issues, and **security testing** (OWASP LLM Top 10). It bridges the gap between initial development and production deployment.

**Security testing is part of the ADLC, not a separate skill.** Functional correctness (right topic, right action) and security posture (resists attacks) are two dimensions of the same test suite. Treat adversarial coverage as part of the test flow and the Agent Spec — when you plan tests for an agent, plan its security tests too. Security test-case generation is **gated on explicit user confirmation** (see Mode C).

## Platform Notes

- Shell examples below use bash syntax. On Windows, use PowerShell equivalents or Git Bash.
