## What it does

This skill covers the development lifecycle of Salesforce Agentforce agents using Agent Script. It authors `<ApiName>.agent` files alongside sibling `<ApiName>.bundle-meta.xml` descriptors inside `AiAuthoringBundle` metadata folders. Actions link directly to invocable Apex, autolaunched Flows, or Prompt Templates. Folder and file names must match the API name with exact case sensitivity, or deployment fails immediately.

All org interactions run strictly through `sf` CLI commands formatted with `--json`. The workflow stays draft-first: you edit, simulate, and preview behaviors locally before committing. Live actions and final publication require explicit confirmation to keep unverified logic out of customer-facing environments.

Working with active orgs requires an Agentforce license, API v66.0 or later, an Einstein Agent User, and `sf` CLI 2.139.6 or higher. The skill does not convert classic Einstein Bots; legacy BotDefinition assets need a separate upgrade tool.

## Requirements
- Works with: Salesforce

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-generate -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/agentforce-generate/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-generate -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-generate -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install forcedotcom/sf-skills agentforce-generate
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-generate -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills --path skills/agentforce-generate
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add forcedotcom/sf-skills --skill agentforce-generate -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/forcedotcom/sf-skills/tree/HEAD/skills/agentforce-generate/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- author AiAuthoringBundle metadata and Agent Script definitions
- audit agent logic and resolve routing bottlenecks
- simulate agent behavior locally before pushing to production
- validate and deploy agent bundles using Salesforce CLI

## Example prompts
- Check MyAgent.agent for syntax errors and fix the routing logic
- Generate an AiAuthoringBundle draft with an invocable Flow action
- Audit our Agent Script bundle before deploying with sf CLI

# Agent Script Skill

## What This Skill Is For

This skill is for developing Agentforce agents, primarily with Agent Script, Salesforce's scripting language for AI agents.

Org-backed workflows require an Agentforce license, API v66.0 or later, and an
Einstein Agent User. Static authoring and review can proceed without org access.

**CRITICAL:** Agent Script is NOT AppleScript, JavaScript, Python, or any other
language. Do NOT confuse Agent Script syntax or semantics with any other
language you have been trained on.

Agent Script agents are defined by `AiAuthoringBundle` metadata: an
`<ApiName>.agent` file (agent behavior) plus a sibling
`<ApiName>.bundle-meta.xml` file (bundle metadata). The directory and both
filenames must use the same case-sensitive API name; a literal
`bundle-meta.xml` filename is not deployable. Actions can be implemented with
