## What it does

The skill unlocks the `system` domain in `ae-cli`, meant for users whose Agent role is `root` or `agent_admin`. With it you add and disable members, switch roles, create sandboxes in batches, bind users to them, upload shared tools and push those tools to running sandboxes. A separate group of commands covers token usage stats, quotas and limits.

Start with `ae-cli auth login --host <host>`. A valid CLI-token session is required; sandbox identity headers do not count as authorization. Real IDs for users, sandboxes, models and quota rules come from list commands first — guessing them is off the table. Before every write the skill calls for `--dry-run`, showing the target and the effect, then explicit confirmation. The `--yes` flag skips the CLI prompt, but it is not a security boundary.

Authorization lives on the server: `/api/admin/**` and `/api/cli/channel/v1/**` are the final boundary. On a 403, retrying login or hunting for another endpoint gets you nowhere, and the skill forbids it. One exception is `+npm-install`: it installs an exact npm version and packages Linux files, so it runs inside a te-agent sandbox, though the `root` or `agent_admin` role is still required. Member deletion via `DELETE /api/admin/members?openId=...` and `/api/internal/sandboxes/**` is deliberately left out — other systems own those contracts.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-system -a claude-code
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `~/.claude/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md` — Copy the whole skill folder; for one project use .claude/skills/ae-system/

### Codex

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-system -a codex
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.agents/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md` — For all projects use ~/.agents/skills/

### Cursor

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-system -a cursor
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.cursor/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md` — Cursor also reads .agents/skills/ and .claude/skills/

### GitHub Copilot

1. **GitHub CLI**
```bash
gh skill install ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli ae-system
```

2. **Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.github/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md`

### Gemini CLI

1. **Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-system -a gemini-cli
```

2. **Platform CLI**
```bash
gemini skills install https://github.com/ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --path skills/ae-system
```

### Windsurf (Devin Desktop)

**Manually: put the files in place**
- File: `.devin/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md` — The legacy .windsurf/skills/ path still works

### OpenCode

**Skills CLI (Vercel)**
```bash
npx skills add ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli --skill ae-system -a opencode
```

### Claude.ai

**Claude.ai**
- Zip the folder and upload it in Settings → Capabilities → Skills

Where a file is given instead of a command, copy the files from the source to that path: https://github.com/ThinkingAIAgenticEngine/ae-cli/tree/HEAD/skills/ae-system/SKILL.md

## When to use it
- add members to Agent and hand them sandboxes in one go
- switch a non-root member between `agent_admin` and `member`
- create personal sandboxes for a batch of users
- upload a shared tool and activate it on running sandboxes
- check token usage and recent conversation count per member

## Example prompts
- list the Agent members that are currently enabled
- add these users and create sandboxes for them
- show token usage stats for this member
