## What it does

The skill runs a typed 80-item CORE-EEAT profile and evaluates every item. Each Pass, Partial or Fail needs a source, an observation date, an evidence type and a confidence level. When evidence is missing it records `unknown` instead of guessing a score.

Before scoring you declare the target (a URL or draft), the content type (`product-review`, `how-to-guide`, `comparison`, `landing-page`, `blog-post`, `faq-page`, `alternative`, `best-of`, `testimonial`), the market, the publication state and the evidence freeze date. If the type can't be inferred safely, it asks one blocking question. Three qualified vetoes apply: a material title/promise mismatch, an internal factual contradiction, and a missing or obscured disclosure where a relationship exists.

It needs the runtime — `rubric-score.py`, the validator and the typed catalogs. Without them it returns `score_state: NOT_SCORED`, no gate verdict and no saved artifact. A total score only appears when item coverage is complete. Treat the result as a quality-control summary, not a ranking prediction. For medical, legal or financial content it checks source currency, reviewer qualification and required disclaimers; it does not give professional advice.

## When to use it
- gate a new article on E-E-A-T before it goes live
- list the evidence gaps behind every rubric item
- get a SHIP, FIX, BLOCK or UNDECIDED verdict
- rerun the audit after evidence-backed fixes
- spot missing disclosures in affiliate or sponsored content

## Example prompts
- Audit this product review for the U.S. market before publication: <URL or content>
- Run a CORE-EEAT audit and show every evidence gap: <draft>
- Check publish readiness for a landing page, content type `landing-page`

# Content Quality Auditor

Audit one content artifact with the versioned CORE-EEAT contract. Produce evidence-linked item states, a comparable score only when coverage is complete, and a SHIP/FIX/BLOCK/UNDECIDED verdict. Scores are advisory quality-control summaries, not ranking or citation predictions.

## When This Must Trigger

- The user asks for content quality, E-E-A-T, publish-readiness, or CORE-EEAT review.
- A new/refreshed artifact needs the content gate before publication.
- A prior audit is being rerun after evidence-backed fixes.

## Quick Start

```text
Audit this product review for the U.S. market before publication: <URL or content>
Run a CORE-EEAT comparison-profile audit and show every evidence gap: <artifact>
```
