## What it does

This plugin connects Claude Code to a language server for JavaScript and TypeScript projects. It handles go-to-definition lookups and error checks. Supported file extensions include `.ts`, `.tsx`, `.js`, `.jsx`, `.mts`, `.cts`, `.mjs`, and `.cjs`.

Setup requires a global installation of `typescript-language-server` and `typescript` via npm or yarn. Run `npm install -g typescript-language-server typescript` or use yarn. Without those global packages, the server will fail to start.

## Install

## When to use it
- jump to definitions across `.ts` and `.tsx` source files
- locate symbol references throughout the repository
- spot syntax and type errors before compiling
- inspect modules in `.cjs` and `.mjs` formats

- Check `src/server.ts` for type errors
- Go to the definition of the `UserConfig` interface
