## What it does

The plugin includes agents for Apex business logic and triggers, Lightning Web Components and Aura UI, declarative automation with Salesforce Flow, and Visualforce pages with their controllers. For Apex work that includes test coverage, use `salesforce-apex-triggers`; for declarative workflows, choose `salesforce-flow`.

Switch agents in GitHub Copilot Chat based on what you are building. The agent choice matters: the UI agent handles a different part of Salesforce development than the Flow or Apex agents. Install the plugin with `copilot plugin install salesforce-development@awesome-copilot`.

## When to use it

- Select `salesforce-apex-triggers` and implement a trigger handler for this business rule.
- Switch to `salesforce-aura-lwc` and build a UI component for this page.
- Choose `salesforce-flow` and create a flow that runs when a record changes.

## Usage

Once installed, switch to any of the Salesforce agents in GitHub Copilot Chat depending on what you are building:

- Use **`salesforce-apex-triggers`** for backend business logic, trigger handlers, utility classes, and test coverage
- Use **`salesforce-aura-lwc`** for building Lightning Web Components or Aura component UI
- Use **`salesforce-flow`** for declarative automation including Record-Triggered, Screen, Autolaunched, and Scheduled flows
- Use **`salesforce-visualforce`** for Visualforce pages and their Apex controllers
