# supabase

## What it does

The plugin adds the MCP server at `https://mcp.supabase.com/mcp` plus two skills: `supabase` for general product guidance and `supabase-postgres-best-practices` for schema and Postgres performance advice. Through the server your agent runs SQL and handles auth, storage and real-time subscriptions.

The first time the agent calls the MCP server, a browser window opens for you to sign in to Supabase and approve access. No approval, no tools.

Already added the Supabase MCP server by hand? Remove it once the plugin is in. Otherwise the same tools load twice and the agent gets confused about which copy to use.
