This plugin connects Claude Code to Instacart through Playwright browser automation. It lets an assistant find grocery items across local stores, fill a shopping basket, and place orders.

## What it does

The tool relies on Playwright scripts because the grocery service provides no official API. Claude Code browses store inventories, places chosen items into the cart, and finalizes delivery orders. Active orders can also be checked for status updates.

Running the server requires Node.js 18+. Credentials stay on your machine inside `~/.strider/instacart/browser-profile`, keeping sessions alive across restarts. The initial setup requires a visual interface. You must set `INSTACART_HEADLESS=false` to sign in manually before switching back to headless operation and verifying with `instacart_status`.
