## What it does

The plugin connects Claude Code to the Socials browser extension and exposes your active sessions on X, LinkedIn, and Reddit. Claude can browse feeds, look up posts and their surrounding context, search social content, and draft replies with a chosen persona or mood. It also handles basic browser actions such as opening a tab, navigating, and reloading.

The package includes an MCP server. Claude reaches the extension through a local stdio process and a WebSocket at `127.0.0.1:9847`. You need Node.js 18+, the Socials extension, and Agent Mode enabled; some Socials plans may be required for that mode. The session connection will not work while Agent Mode is disabled.
