## What it does

\`rudder-mcp` comes from the `claude-community` marketplace and talks to RudderStack's MCP server at `mcp.rudderstack.com`. The agent reaches the catalog, sources, destinations, transformations, RETL, tracking plans and live events as tool calls instead of manual work in the RudderStack console.

That means configuration and data questions can be handled from the editor. Ask which sources are connected, have a transformation rewritten, or check a tracking plan against what actually arrives — Claude picks the right server tool for it. The workspace has to be reachable by the MCP server, or the calls fail.

Licensed MIT, published by `rudderlabs`. The marketplace entry holds workflow descriptions for the MCP server; no separate scripts or dependencies are listed there.
