## What it does

When RTL text and English appear together, the plugin guides Claude to keep each line simple. It places English terms at the end when practical, marks code and technical wording with backticks, and favors brief paragraphs. The rules also discourage tables and markdown lists for content that switches between writing directions.

The plugin contains the `skills/rtl-chat` skill, with core formatting guidance and language-specific reference material. It can keep file paths, branch names, and command output apart from the surrounding prose. No setup is needed after installation: the skill activates when RTL text appears in the conversation. Several English terms in one line are a case where the plugin aims to keep the line to a single LTR term.

# RTL Chat Fixer

Fixes jumbled text when mixing RTL languages (Hebrew, Arabic, Persian, Urdu) with English in Cowork and Claude Desktop chat.

## The Problem

Chat interfaces use the Unicode BiDi algorithm to render mixed-direction text. When a line contains multiple English terms inside RTL text, words get scrambled — making the response hard to read.

## What This Plugin Does

It teaches Claude how to structure mixed-direction responses so they render cleanly:

- Limits each line to one English/LTR term maximum
- Places English terms at the end of lines where possible
- Uses short paragraphs instead of long mixed-content blocks
- Wraps code and technical terms in backticks for visual clarity
- Avoids markdown lists and tables when mixing RTL and LTR content
- Keeps Cowork-style content — file paths, branch names, command output — isolated so it doesn't jumble surrounding text
