## What it does

Preflight is a Claude plugin that inspects your code and works out what happens once real traffic arrives. It walks every API route, cron job and webhook, notes which services each one touches, then multiplies that by the user count you give it. You get the caps you will hit, the daily call volume, and the tier you will outgrow.

One skill ships with it: `SKILL.md` holds the analysis instructions, `services.md` carries detection patterns and pricing for 40+ services, `examples.md` calibrates the output. Everything is read-only — no installs, no code execution, no writes. Pricing gets checked with a web search at analysis time.

Claude Code 2.0 or later is the only requirement. PDF export runs through headless Chrome and falls back to Chromium, wkhtmltopdf or weasyprint, so without one of those the PDF step fails. Detection is tuned for Next.js, Express, Fastify, Remix, Nuxt, Django, FastAPI, Flask, Rails, Gin, Echo, Actix and Axum, though any codebase can be analysed.

## When to use it

The `--export` flag is additive -- the inline report always displays in chat.
