## What it does

posthog gives Claude Code access to PostHog tools for feature flags, A/B tests, analytics, dashboards, and error tracking. Its task-focused skills load when a request matches their scope, such as creating an experiment, auditing flags, or investigating a sync issue. The package includes 27+ tools and 30+ skills.

PostHog access uses OAuth when an MCP tool is used for the first time. A self-hosted instance requires `POSTHOG_MCP_URL`. Sending Claude Code sessions to LLM Analytics is a separate setup that needs both `POSTHOG_LLMA_CC_ENABLED=true` and `POSTHOG_API_KEY`; without OAuth, the PostHog tools cannot connect.
