## What it does

Two skills come in the package. `post-bridge` handles publishing, scheduling and managing posts across 10 networks through the Post Bridge API. `b2c-organic-social-media-marketing` is an organic growth coach for B2C apps on TikTok and Instagram. The repo carries a root `plugin.json`, an `mcp.json` and a `skills/` folder, so clients that follow the Agent Plugins standard can pick up the skill and the hosted MCP server from the same package; Claude still reads `.claude-plugin/`.

Installing the skills also puts the `postbridge-cli` CLI in reach. From it you post to a list of accounts, queue a post for a UTC timestamp or the next free slot, and upload images or video with automatic format conversion. Analytics cover views, likes, comments and shares for TikTok, YouTube and Instagram, and `analytics:daily` breaks one post down by day. Per-network options go through `--platform-config` — a YouTube title and tags, a TikTok inbox draft, a Pinterest board.

You need a Post Bridge account with your socials connected, plus API access, which is a $5/month add-on. The key goes in with the `setup` command or the `POST_BRIDGE_API_KEY` variable. Some networks refuse a text-only post: YouTube and TikTok want video, Instagram and Pinterest want an image or video, so a post without media will not go out there. The CLI needs Node.js 18+.

## Agent Plugins standard

This repo is also a portable [Agent Plugin](https://agent-plugins.org) (spec 1.0.0), the open packaging standard from Amazon, Cursor, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Vercel. Root `plugin.json` + `mcp.json` + `skills/` mean any compatible client (Cursor, VS Code, and more as they adopt it) can load the post bridge skill and connect to the hosted MCP server from this one package. Claude Code keeps using `.claude-plugin/` as before; both formats live side by side.

## What Are Skills?

Skills are markdown files that give AI agents specialized knowledge and workflows for specific tasks. Add this to your project and your AI agent will be able to create, schedule, and publish social media content across 10 platforms.

## Install

### Skill (works with Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf, Codex, and other agents):

This installs the skills **and** makes the `postbridge-cli` CLI available to your agent.

The CLI is published standalone on npm — no install required, `npx` fetches it on first use:

Requires Node.js 18+. Install globally with `npm i -g postbridge-cli` if you'd rather drop the `npx` prefix.

## Setup

1. Sign up at [post-bridge.com](https://www.post-bridge.com) and connect your social accounts
2. [Enable API access](https://www.post-bridge.com/dashboard/api-keys) (API Keys page in your dashboard) — $5/month add-on
3. Run the setup command:

> **Tip:** You can also set the API key as an environment variable instead of running `setup`: `export POST_BRIDGE_API_KEY=pb_live_xxxxx` (add it to `~/.zshrc` / `~/.bashrc` to persist).
