## What it does
ponytail tells the agent to write only what the task calls for, use standard tools first, and avoid extra abstractions. It encourages checking the project for components that already solve the problem. Validation, error handling, security, and accessibility still matter; the plugin does not treat them as code to cut.
The plugin includes `/ponytail-review`, which examines code affected by a change and related areas, looking for bugs, security issues, and missing tests. Findings explain the problem and suggest a fix. `/ponytail-audit` ranks issues across the repository. A review limited to changed lines can miss a breakage elsewhere, so the broader check matters when changes affect connected code.
