## What it does

The plugin wires up an MCP server plus 10 skills and 6 slash commands. Each tool call hits the upstream registry API at the moment you ask, so search, profiles, officers, shareholders, charges, filings and financial documents come back current. Field names and status codes stay as the government system emits them, and the registry's own identifiers are kept, so you can rebuild the link to the source record.

The skills and commands cover the usual jobs: walking ownership across borders, due diligence on a counterparty, spotting shell-company patterns, pulling XBRL statements, watching for new filings, checking whether a name is free. A chain like a UK Ltd to its Luxembourg SARL to a Cayman LP to an individual runs inside one conversation.

The hosted endpoint is `https://openregistry.sophymarine.com/mcp`. There is a free tier; paid keys raise the quota and depth. Data is licensed from the registries themselves, and where a record is not held the response carries an `alternative_url` pointing to the statutory portal.
