## What it does

This plugin turns OpenAPI schemas into Spring Boot code in Java. It scaffolds project folders, writes REST controllers, and organizes the service layer following standard Spring practices.

Inside, you get the slash command `/openapi-to-application-java-spring-boot:openapi-to-application-code` alongside the dedicated `openapi-to-application` agent. The agent guides the process of turning an API spec into working application code.

You need a prepared OpenAPI schema before running it, because the generator relies on explicit API definitions. Installation happens via the Copilot CLI.

## Install

### GitHub Copilot (native platform)
