## What it does

The bundle covers serverless and edge functions, Netlify Blobs, managed Postgres with Drizzle ORM, forms, caching, and image delivery through the CDN. Other skills cover `netlify.toml`, adapters for Vite, Astro, TanStack, and Next.js, plus AI Gateway, Identity, and access controls.

There are also references for deploying with the CLI and running Claude, Codex, or Gemini tasks remotely against a site's repository. Some skills include deeper files under `references/`, including guides for frameworks, uploaded images, and deployment patterns. Claude Code installs the plugin through a plugin marketplace; GitHub Copilot has its own install command.

## Install

### Claude Code (native platform)

**Plugin marketplace**
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin install netlify-skills@claude-plugins-official
```
In the agent chat (not a shell):
```text
/plugin marketplace add anthropics/claude-plugins-community
```

### GitHub Copilot

**Command from the source**
```bash
copilot plugin install netlify@awesome-copilot
```

## When to use it
- configure Netlify Functions and Edge Functions
- connect managed Postgres with Drizzle ORM
- set redirects and build options in `netlify.toml`
- handle HTML forms and filter spam
- inspect Netlify deployment settings and logs

## Example prompts
- Set up Netlify Functions to handle requests in this project.
- Review `netlify.toml` and fix the build settings for my app.
- Show me how to deploy this project to Netlify with the CLI.

## Installation

One command installs the skills into any project, from the released [`@netlify/skills`](https://www.npmjs.com/package/@netlify/skills) package:

```bash
npx @netlify/skills@latest add --all
```

It writes the skills into the agent directory already in the project (`.claude/`, `.agents/`, or `.grok/`) and never guesses: with none, or more than one, it asks for `--agent`.

| Agent | `--agent` | Skills directory |
|---|---|---|
| Claude Code | `claude-code` | `.claude/skills/` |
| Cursor | `cursor` | `.agents/skills/` |
| Codex | `codex` | `.agents/skills/` |
| Gemini CLI | `gemini-cli` | `.agents/skills/` |
| GitHub Copilot, VS Code | `github-copilot` | `.agents/skills/` |
| Grok Build | `grok` | `.grok/skills/` |
| Anything else | | `--dest <dir>` |
