## What it does

The plugin connects Claude to the Kotlin language server. While you edit, the agent gets diagnostics, go-to-definition, find-references and type information for `.kt` and `.kts` files. No build step is involved.

It speaks LSP and starts on its own when files change. There are no credentials, no network calls and no file writes — the plugin only reads and analyses code.

Install the server first: `brew install kotlin-language-server`, `sdk install kls` through SDKMAN, or a build from the GitHub releases. Confirm it with `kotlin-language-server --version`. Skip that step and the plugin has nothing to talk to.

## Setup

1. **Install kotlin-language-server**:
   ```bash
   brew install kotlin-language-server
   ```
   Or via [SDKMAN](https://sdkman.io/) (`sdk install kls`) or [GitHub releases](https://github.com/fwcd/kotlin-language-server/releases).

2. **Verify** it works:
   ```bash
   kotlin-language-server --version
   ```

3. **Install the plugin**:
   ```
   claude plugin install kotlin-lsp@msapps-plugins
   ```
