## What it does

The plugin connects Claude Code to live environments through dedicated investigation skills. It includes workflows for tracing runtime failures and finding root causes behind latency spikes. The assistant inspects running processes directly, checking variable states or execution counts. No service redeployments are needed.

Investigations produce structured handoff summaries detailing runtime evidence. Without an accessible Lightrun MCP server and completed OAuth authorization, none of these skills can pull live data. Proper environment access remains mandatory before starting any diagnosis.

## When to use it
- debug running applications without restarts or redeploys
- pinpoint latency causes and timeouts across slow endpoints
- inspect live variable values and hit counts from production
- evaluate pull requests alongside actual runtime execution traces

## Example prompts
- Use `lightrun-live-runtime-debugging` to investigate failing requests on production.
- Run `lightrun-slow-execution-diagnosis` on the `/checkout` route to trace latency.
- Ask production using `lightrun-ask-prod` for current variable states and execution counts.
