## What it does

The plugin runs an MCP server that exposes Laravel tools to the agent. Claude can then run Artisan commands, build Eloquent queries, inspect routes and migrations, and generate code that follows framework conventions.

Install comes from Anthropic's official marketplace. Add the marketplace first, then install the plugin — the second command fails without the first. Your project needs to be a Laravel app, otherwise there is nothing for the tools to act on.

Published by Laravel under Apache-2.0. The payoff shows up in projects with a lot of database and routing churn: the agent picks the right command instead of you recalling the exact syntax.

## When to use it
- run an Artisan command without leaving the chat
- build an Eloquent query from a model description
- audit routes and how controllers connect
- generate a migration for a schema change
- write code that follows Laravel conventions, not generic PHP
